Super Sonic: the classic golden form Sonic can use after gathering the seven Chaos Emeralds.
Werehog: When Sonic was exposed to Dark Gaia’s essence, he took on a new form that appeared only during a full moon. His body becomes covered in fur, he gains claws, stretchy arms and sacrifices his great speed for an even greater boost in power. After the planet broke the second time, Sonic learned to keep a portion of the dark essence within himself and can now tap into the form whenever he wants.
Hyper Sonic: After turning the Chaos Emeralds into Super Emeralds, Sonic can use the new energy to become Hyper Sonic. This form was Sonic’s strongest and his ace in the hole, though the huge strain in power and Ring consumption makes this form a double edged sword.
All other canon forms used in the series are also accessible. (Darkspine, Excalibur, Wisp power ups, etc.)

Skills/ Abilities

Sonic Wind: running really fast, Sonic can create giant vacuums of wind to blow away or trap his opponents in the blue winds.
Axe Kick: Using Boost Energy, Sonic can infuse some of it into the soles of his shoes, empowering them for an attack. Sonic’s also learned to use the Double Axe Kick over time.
Humming Top: With Boost Energy again, Sonic performs a handstand and spins his legs around and around, turning himself into a small but powerful tornado, able to smash through nearly anything.
Boost/Double Boost: Sonic can boost with Rings to increase his running speed even further. Using the Double Boost he can reach faster speeds when mixing his energy with a partner.
Spine Sense: Whenever there’s a dark force or powerful being nearby, Sonic’s quills will shudder, alerting him of the incoming danger near him.
(These are just a few of the abilities and skills that stand out more to this version of Sonic. He still retains and can use all the skills and abilities the canon Modern Sonic can. Will add more if need be.)
